Cant delete empty tv folder in library?

  • Hello, ok I tried adding The Emmy Awards to my tv show library with the Tvrage scraper since thetvdb didnt listed the event. Anyways after adding it it named the tv show "40" for some reason. Now I've removed all content from withing "40" from the tv show library but the folder (tvshow name) remains there. Ive tried choosing removing from library on it but this doesnt do anything. So how can I delete empty tv show folders from the library? Thanks

    I have the same problem that occured yesterday when TheTVdb had it's issues. I deleted my American Dad! entry from the library in the hopes I could add it all back properly (but couldn't due to the backend issues with theTVdb). My folder is labeled 56 and received the American Dad! thumb, but there are no shows and I cannot remove it from the library.

    You find a solution?


  • The advancedsetting works on all platforms.


  • I *think* he may be referring to the fact you dont have any tags in your xml.

  • I believe there's an advancedsetting for hiding empty shows. Try taking a look on the advancedsettings.xml page on the wiki?

    - This was only meant so the "normal" user didn't have to read up to make his XBMC library mode, understand - not to show empty folders in library...

    User "friendliness"!

    But nevermind, just a suggestion. :rofl:

    Dude.. are you kidding? I am, by no means, a newb to forums. The general help forums are usually a place where users can get "help". If I had the time to go read the entire FAQ/Wiki/Manual, I would be doing that. Don't be rude and hit us up with a link to the answer..

  • Spiff; should we maybe not get this added into xbmc for xbox in some release soon, since everyone could benefit from it.

    Including me, who had that problem.

    But instead extracted the DB, created nfo with nfo creater, deletede the database manually, and then had to add them again.

    Putting your database in xbmc own library database, becomes more and more unreliable I think :)

    Just a thought.

    Added the advancedsettings.xml to /UserData with:


    true


    ol' "56" is still there...
